Check your business

Start typing your business name, choose the correct Google listing, and we'll calculate your StreetRated Score only after you select it.

We do not retrieve rating data until you select the correct business. If the normal suggestions do not show your business, use Search more Google results. A business does not need to be an NSFVA member to qualify.

    How it works

    Recognition, not a popularity contest.

A vendor searches the business, confirms the correct public listing, and receives a score based on two things customers have already created: the rating and the amount of review evidence behind it.

    1. Find the listing

We use the business's public Google listing to retrieve the current rating and review count.

    2. Calculate the score

The formula rewards both customer satisfaction and the strength of the evidence behind that rating.

    3. Earn recognition

Recognition is determined by published criteria. Buying anything from NSFVA never changes the score or qualification.

    Published methodology — Version 1.0

Simple enough to explain. Strict enough to mean something.

The founding StreetRated Score intentionally uses data we can verify consistently. As the NSFVA vendor database grows, market and category percentile benchmarks can be added as a separate measure without changing historical scores.

    70 points — Customer Rating

    (Google rating ÷ 5) × 70

A 4.8-star business earns 67.2 of the 70 available rating points.

    30 points — Review Evidence

A logarithmic scale rewards additional reviews while preventing very large businesses from overwhelming smaller operators purely by volume.

Full review-volume points are reached at 1,000 reviews.

After a business is checked, this section updates to show how that specific StreetRated score was calculated.
